A lurcher cross collie, Bud has lots of energy and enjoys a variety of activities, always on the lookout for the next way to have fun.
Staff at Dogs Trust Shoreham say Bud is smart and already knows some basic commands, is fully housetrained, responds well to a clicker and is making great progress with his behaviour management.
However, he is always keen to learn more, so would love owners who are just as enthusiastic as he is to work on some positive, reward-based training.

In particular, Bud likes engaging in a game with his toys and loves for his people pals to play along. Other favoured pastimes include exploring on quiet walks, settling with a long-lasting chew and training.
While he takes a bit of warming up to people he does not know, Bud comes into his true character after several meetings and lots of tasty treats. Once he knows you well, he will show you his affectionate side and love nothing more than spending time by your side.
Bud will need to live in an adult-only home without any visiting children. Due to his sensitivities around loud noises, he is best suited to a family who lead a quieter lifestyle and who live in a rural area.
He will need to be walked away from any busy roads and his new home should have easy access to quieter walking areas, where he can avoid bumping into other dogs. Bud will need to be the only pet at home and it is essential he has a garden.
