JESSICA KARTALIJA: A French bulldog is Philly’s favorite dog breed and is gunning for the top spot all over the country too. The American Kennel Club says for the second year in a row, the city of brotherly love showed love for the Frenchie. That breed also came in number one in the hearts of New Yorkers and residents in LA. Number one in the country, the golden retriever, followed very closely by the French bulldog.
– What do you have? You have–
JESSICA KARTALIJA: I have a nice mutt.
– OK.
JESSICA KARTALIJA: She’s from lab rescue. We think she’s lab boxer. And she’s the love of my life. And you have rescues.
– We have a pit, a pit mix. We’ve had a long haired shepherd, a white shepherd, a husky, all, by the way, rescues–
JESSICA KARTALIJA: Yeah.
– –and adopted. Yes, indeed. We love dogs.
JESSICA KARTALIJA: Yeah.
– Love dogs.
JESSICA KARTALIJA: We’re partial to adopting, not shopping. But they are cute.
– I like that. Can I use that?
JESSICA KARTALIJA: Adopt, don’t shop.
– I like that.
