Right now, many of us are feeling isolated, stressed, sad, angry and anxious because, well … the world is sort of falling apart. We’re all stuck inside with nothing better to do but worry around the clock about our health and financial futures in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
But with much of the world in the same boat, social media can be kind of comforting right now (well, at least when it’s not adding to our anxiety). It’s about the only way we can feel connected even while we’re social distancing.

Quarantining also means that everyone has more than enough time on their hands to fuel the meme machine. Tweets about working from home, social distancing, cooking with pantry staples and spending more time with pets and family are in abundance. Going on your daily state-approved walk around the block? There’s a tweet for that. Kids driving you crazy while you’re trying to work from home? There’s a tweet for that, too.
We’ve compiled a gallery of funny memes and tweets about quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic to make you feel better. It’s certainly not enough, but we hope it helps a little bit.
