An area ice rink helped this pooch make her final moments on Earth be a few of her happiest.
After watching their beloved dog Maggie’s painful battle with most cancers after a July analysis, homeowners Marianna Wilson and Elijah Saltzgaber made the troublesome resolution to place her down. But earlier than serving to the 11-year-old cross the rainbow bridge, the pair needed to discover a method to let her do her favourite issues one final time.
So, on the weekend earlier than placing her to sleep this September, they organized a weekend full of Maggie’s favourite issues: stomach rubs, meals, paddleboarding, taking part in together with her ball, tenting, extra meals and extra stomach rubs. They even discovered a method to make it snow with the assistance of an area ice rink.
In the title of Maggie’s final weekend, Utah’s Salt Lake County Ice Center transported buckets of ice shavings to the pair’s dwelling, simply so Maggie might play in them one final time.
