This diva would prefer to be the only dog in her retirement home.
Lexi was found chained to a tree outside the shelter on June 27 in 100-degree heat with no water in the bucket. It is illegal to abandon an animal and also dangerous in this location due to coyotes, a possible car accident or to pet theft.
This senior with spunk would make an ideal companion to a young and active retired couple. Lexi is a calm 7-year-old pit bull that enjoys a morning walk and is then content to lounge the day away. She was likely a backyard dog as she isn’t house trained, but she will “sit,” “come” and walks well on leash.
Lexi is a affectionate, people dog and loyal. She was bonding with me already in the 20 minutes when I met her. She is still a playful dog and loves her toys.
Since Lexi also loves her food and treats, she needs an exercise buddy to lose some weight and get fit. If that would match your lifestyle, this sweet girl could be the next love of your life.
Book an appointment to meet her!
