PET OF THE WEEK: Sept. 19, 2021

Humane Society of West Alabama: 

Alfa is a 4-year-old male Labrador retriever mix with a handsome light brown coat. At only 41 pounds, he could use some extra treats to help him get back to a targeted, healthier weight of around 45 pounds. He is a shy pup who is looking for a calm environment and a patient new owner to give him some TLC. He is a little “shell-shocked” after he was owner-surrendered to a local shelter, so he is still confused about why he is no longer in the home he has always known. We know once he feels comfortable and confident in his new home he will blossom into a happy, playful dog. Alfa would prefer a home without young children and would likely be happiest with another dog to help him come out of his shell.
