“We’d love to see more offices introducing Dogs at Work policies to allow owners to bring their dogs into the workplace and would encourage public transport providers to make it easier for passengers to travel with dogs.”
Dogs Trust found that 82 per cent increase of dogs whining or barking when someone is busy and a 41 per cent increase in dogs being clingy and following owners around the house.
Experts say that this behaviour has been caused by dogs only knowing constant companionship and attention for the past two years.
American pet food company Purina is recognised as one of the few workplaces that allows Pets At Work (PAW for short). Their UK office now welcomes 50 dogs everyday.
