Elsa is an 11-month-old female pitbull terrier. She had a rough start in life and was found on a country road during one of the coldest nights of the year in February. Elsa burrowed herself into a snowbank in an attempt to stay warm. Elsa’s tail was frostbit, and she had to have half of it amputated. Elsa has been at the shelter for six weeks during her recovery, and is now ready to find her forever home. Elsa is energetic and playful and needs an owner who has lots of time to work with her.
