Work life looks a lot different for most of us these days, as stay-at-home orders have transformed our living spaces into work spaces. It’s an adjustment for sure, as normal work routines have changed, many are sharing the home office with significant others and/or tasked with balancing those duties with the responsibilities of parenting in addition to homeschooling.
While the internet has made working (or schooling) from home much easier thanks to video conferencing apps like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, it also provides ample opportunities for unexpected surprises. From kids video-bombing in the background to microphone or wardrobe malfunctions, we scanned the web to find the best work-from-home “fails” during the quarantine.
We start with this hilarious compilation from The Ellen Show:
And who could forget the boss who turned herself into a potato for a meeting and couldn’t turn it off:
In Italy, priest Paolo Longo turned to Facebook to livestream mass and accidentally activated the filters feature:
Anyone trying to work with children around can appreciate the struggles of this mom:
Luckily most of us aren’t working from home while also on television, like meteorologist Lonnie Quinn of CBS New York:
