Research found the breed is the most mentioned in several online forums bemoaning bad dog behaviour

Any dog owner knows they can’t stay mad at puppy-dog eyes for long – after all, they didn’t mean it, right?
Chewed up furniture, dug-up flower beds and tinkles on the carpet are among the naughty things our dogs have done – but there are some breeds that cause more chaos than others.
It transpires that the loveable Labrador is the breed mentioned most in online forums when it comes to sharing our pets destructive or clumsy antics.
In a study carried out by money.co.uk, Labradors ranked in six of the seven categories analysed, based on owners opinions.
While Labs don’t tend to be chewers, they are the most likely to use your new rug as a loo – with twice as many mentions of breed urinating around the home than Schnauzers, Cavapoos or Cocker Spaniels.

The popular breed ranked in second place as destroyers, with Collies more likely to tear up your sofa, and are second only to beagles for being food thiefs, always ready to ransack a cupboard.
Staffordshire Bull Terriers have been named the clumsiest breed – as well as the nation’s favourite – but Labrador’s are still on the podium for this category too, taking the silver medal in second place.
A Staffy or pomeranian may be more likely to break your phone or sit on your glasses, but watch out for your vases and plant pots around Labradors too.
Labs ranked second for ‘snappiest’ breed, and fourth most likely to dig up the garden, too – so keep an eye on those bedding plants.
The items most likely to get damaged by the dog include cables, doors, carpets, wires and sofas.
But it doesn’t matter what they do, you can never be angry for long with a Labrador – no matter how many times you find yourself scrubbing the carpet.
