Your pet is at the centre of your world in a way that you can’t quite explain.
But now research has shown that some breeds get more pampering treatment than others do.
A study carried out by personalised dog gift shop yappy.com has identified the breeds of our four-legged friends that are pampered the most by their humans across the UK.
The study is based on the highest average spend by the owners of each breed, with more than 300 popular breeds and over 450,000 individual pet profiles used for the results, says TeamDogs.
It turns out that, across the whole country, the breed most likely to be showered in treats and toys by their humans is a Cavapoochon.
The doggos favoured for their ‘forever young’ look, resembling a puppy even well into their adult years, make them a prime target for some extra loving.
Another breed that gives the impression of an eternal puppy comes in second, with the Maltipoo the next most indulged dogs.
With the big black eyes that will melt anyone’s heart, it’s not hard to see why!

Chow Chows complete the top three for the most satisfied doggos, with others including the classic poodle and the ever-loved flat-coated retriever.
There have also been rankings revealed for the most treasured dogs in each region of the UK.
The Dandie Dinmont Terrier took the title of being the most pampered breed by owners in London, with Cockapoos, Shar Peis and Chihuahuas taking the titles for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland respectively.
